Protect Them All

There were a few soldiers left behind to guard the evacuation site but they were overwhelmed by Sibleon and a small group of minions he brought along. His underlings easily casted the soldiers aside and caused panic amongst the people. Everyone began to scatter and scream as he scanned through everyone in order to find what he wanted.

After analyzing the frightened population, his systems alerted him when it spotted his targets. He made his way to where his scanners were telling him, leading him to two girls on the ground that had lost their family amidst the chaos, Anahat and Summer.

Sibleon reached his hand out to the two girls. “There is much destruction in this world that none of these humans can do much about. But I can protect you both, join me.” he offered.

Both Summer and Anahat tried to back away but they were too afraid to move. Sibleon continued to reach with his hand but someone came in from the side and slapped his hand away. Sibleon pulled back his hand and looked to find that Anaya was standing between him and the girls.

“Brave, but incredibly dumb.” He said to Anaya, raising his arm to swing at her. However, before he could strike, Atana came falling from the high ground and grabbed Sibleon from behind. She had a hold of his eyes and held on to him as tightly as she could.

“Run Anaya! Get as far away as possible. I don’t know how much longer I can hold him!” Atana cried. Not wanting Atana’s efforts to go to waste, Anaya grabbed both Summer and Anahat’s hands and began running. “I promise to give you all the different kinds of candy from the kingdom so stay alive!”

Atana breathed a sigh of relief once they left but unfortunately, Sibleon finally got a grip of her and tossed her against the wall. The impact caused her to hit her head and make her go unconscious. With Atana out of his way, he pursued Anaya.

Anaya tried to encourage the girls to keep running but Anahat’s leg was injured. They stopped to see if they could treat her wound but Sibleon along with three bruiser units appeared. Anaya and the girls were caught but swiftly coming to their rescue was Samiya on her galloping horse.

While her horse was going at full speed, she held out her sword and swung it at the three Metadross units. She took out all of them with three separate swings. She then came at Sibleon full speed and drove her sword right at Sibleon’s chest. Her sword went into the chest and Sibleon’s body suddenly stopped moving.

After defeating Sibleon, Samiya came down from her steed to check if Anaya and the girls were injured. Other than a few scratches and bruises, Samiya was relieved to find out they were okay. They were extremely glad to be reunited.

As they were able to get up and help Summer and Anahat find their family, something reached out grabbing a hold of Samiya. She turned around to see that Sibleon was still alive and had her encased tightly within a pile of Metadross. “Your persistence is quite admirable, but your blade did not cut deep enough!” He said as he threw her against the wall, making her too injured to move.

Sibleon then made his way towards Anaya, who stood in front of Summer and Anahat. He gave her one last chance to step aside. Once again, Anaya with her ever silent but strong demeanor, refused to move. Running out of patience, he reached for Anaya but a plasma beam came between them, nearly blowing off Sibleon’s arm. The attack forced Sibleon to back a few meters away before identifying who attacked him.

Coming to their aid was David who looked more determined than ever. “Sorry for leaving you alone back at the prison Anaya but I’m back now.” he assured his friend. “You… You are from the desert! Ha, you stood no chance against me, you are a fool to come!” He boasted.

Sibleon tried to attack David before he could react but David disappeared from his sight. When David reappeared, he was right in front of him and David landed a series of consecutive punches against his abdomen. Sibleon was on one knee and filled with rage, he called for his squad of bruisers to surround David.

“There are ten units coming at you, activating plasma cannon weaponry, rapid fire mode!” Siri announced. David held out his hands that transformed into cannons and he unleashed them on the incoming Metadross that were melted in an instant. He then turned his attention to Sibleon, firing the charged up beam at him. Sibleon took the full brunt of the attack and shattered into pieces.

Anaya made her way to help Samiya get up from her injuries. “Anaya, who is that? He seems human but not entirely.” Anaya told Samiya everything, that David was friends with Niall and the rest of the group and how he played a part in helping them rescue her from the palace and save Samiya in prison.

Samiya walked up to David and kneeled down to him to show her gratitude. David was taken aback, “Hey don’t mention it, who are you anyways?” Anaya nudged him and said quietly, “She is the queen!” David immediately went down on his knees, “I’m sorry your highness, I didn’t know because of your small stature… I mean… uh…” He was incredibly nervous.

Samiya giggled, “It's quite alright, I’m used to it. Thank you for your hard fought efforts. Thanks to you, Sibleon is no more.” David’s nervousness broke away as did his smile, “Actually that wasn’t Sibleon, at least not the real one. That was only one of his droids. The real Sibleon is probably still hiding in his warship.”

The news came as no surprise as Samiya had a feeling that Sibleon couldn’t have been defeated so easily. “Right now we need to head back to the gates. Everyone else is fighting hard there to protect the people here.” Samiya slowly walked but the pain was too much and she fell but thankfully Anaya caught her.

“You are far too hurt to fight right now. Rest up and leave everything to us.” Samiya thanked David but then she questioned him, “Us?” David then pointed behind her, and Samiya turned to see the reinforcement that David brought. She began to tear up, “Thank you, everyone.”
