Diamond Enclave

The Diamonds Enclave is a large area of the Skavolan Woods where the Amazonians took refuge. Their numbers were few, even less than the population of Colony Five. Despite their low numbers, everyone in the tribe was well-trained and fit for battle.

As they arrived at the entrance of the enclave, Priya gave the order for Chelle Chandra to lock up their prisoners. She nodded and made her way to fulfill Priya’s command. Meanwhile, Priya began walking in the other direction with Addyson and Sonia following behind.

After walking for a few minutes, Addyson could no longer hold in her emotions. She jumped in front of Priya to tell her that arresting the two men was a big mistake. Both Niall and David could have left her alone to fend off the spider queen but they chose to stay behind and help her. She tried to persuade Priya that the two captives were good people.

Sensing the discomfort of conflict, Sonia jumped in between the two. “Okay everyone, it's been a long day. Everyone is just hungry and after dinner we will be all better!” She slowly nudged Addy to signal her to walk away and pretend nothing happened but enough had been said.

Priya moved Sonia aside and to allow Addyson to continue what she had to say. She wanted to know what Addy saw in the prisoners. Addyson did not see the prisoners as the enemies but as their friends.

Priya solemnly asked, “Would you trust these two with your life?” She affirmed that both David and Niall saved her life first, so she would do the same. Before speaking again, Priya let out a sigh and asked Addy if she remembered what happened not too long ago.

Addy claimed that she had not forgotten about their past. She remembered how their ancestors trusted men into their homeland and were deceived, leading to their demise. However, she didn’t want to live in fear of the past forever. She believed people were capable of change and that cooperation with others was possible.

Priya told Addy to look around the enclave. She saw many of their brave warriors; some training, some helping others recovered, and those that were injured. “Our people have been under siege by those scrap metal droids. They have fought valiantly against them and many have lost ones they cared about. One of your friends resembles those metallic beings our people have been at war against. As the leader of the tribe, I can not allow him to set foot on our camp without putting him in chains; our people would not accept it.”

Addy attempted to make her point more clear but time was up. Priya’s decision had already been made. She walked away telling both her and Sonia to rest up after a long day. Sonia was in relief that nothing escalated further. Together, Sonia and Addyson walked towards their resting area but Addyson was not content with how her friends were being treated.
