For All

Unfortunately, the ancient foe would not go down without a fight, “If I’m going down I’m taking you with me!” His body began to disappear and in its place was a black void that began to engulf anything that was within its radius.

Nadya, Jiyah and Reina were closest to the void and were in danger of being pulled in with everything around them. Reina tried to hold on to something but was unable to and her feet began to leave the ground as she was beginning to get pulled into the abyss. Thankfully, Jiyah was quick enough and reached out to grab Reina’s arm but in doing so she began to get dragged in herself. Nadya jumped and caught Jiyah’s arm and with her other hand, drove her sword onto the ground.

The three were hanging on for dear life, as they were encouraging each other to keep holding on. The force from the void was extremely strong and Nadya was losing grip on her sword. One at time her fingers began to slip off the handle of her sword until all her strength was gone and she had to let go of her sword. The heroic trio seem doomed and about to meet their end.

As they began to drift towards the darkness, a lasso was thrown their way that wrapped around Nadya’s wrist. Immediately, Nadya grabbed on to the rope with all her might and didn’t let go.

Riya was the one who had thrown the rope and was now on the other side grabbing on the rope. Maggie was grabbing Riya and pulling her back and that started a chain of people pulling together: Maggie was being pulled by Amisha, then Ranak, Aaryav, Eshaan, Ishaan, Jawad, Kabir, Cole, Bharath, Zara, and finally Birkaran.

All the fighters pulled and refused to let go, but it wasn’t enough. Nadya, Jiyah, and Reina were still getting pulled towards the endless darkness. Finally, Jasmine, Sediya, Shawn, Remy, Rayan, and Pidiya jump in behind Birkaran to add to their efforts. With everyone’s combined strength, the void began to weaken and implode on itself, disappearing from sight, causing everyone to tumble and scatter through the arena.

As the dust settled, each one of the fighters laid on the ground with their eyes open and took a deep breath to make sure they weren’t dreaming. The Grasix Arena was heavily destroyed but the threat against the world had been defeated. Dragkonis appeared to be no more and everyone was finally able to relax.

Reina, Jiyah and Nadya were the first to get up after the hard fought battle. “Let’s go and help everyone else up!” Reina called, but Nadya and Jiyah stood staring at each other. “We still have some unfinished business to take care of.” Jiyah declared. Reina looked puzzled but Nadya knew exactly what she meant, “Ready when you are!”

Jiyah raised her gauntlets and Nadya picked up her sword from the ground, both were ready to engage in battle one last time. Reina began yelling, “Wait what?! Not now! We…” She wanted to stop the fight but she knew there was no stopping the two once they had made the decision. From opposing sides, Jiyah and Nadya stormed towards each other filled with determination but when they were about six feet away from one another, their muscles completely gave out from exhaustion and they both began to collapse to the ground.

Thankfully, Reina was able to cast her shield spell on them to prevent their face from smacking the ground. She turned them both on their back so they could breathe and talk. “Well would you look at that?” Jiyah said despite her tired body. “Just like every time, we end in a draw.” Nadya replied. “You two are unbelievable…” Reina said in disbelief as they laughed while looking up to the bright sky.
